Geo opened the first Jujitsu/Judo school in Brazil in 1909.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=MMA HOF )〕 He taught in Rio de Janeiro, and in 1925 opened a school in São Paulo.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Aloisio Silva Brazilian Jiu Jitsu )〕 He was instrumental in the establishment of Brazilian jiu-jitsu by establishing the first Jujitu school in Japan in São Paulo.〔 He would later instruct key Brazilian Jiu-Jitus founder Luiz França.〔 His other student included Carlos Pereira.〔
